I want to major in Philosophy or Psychology simply because I enjoy learning more about them and it’s actually interesting to study.

Unfortunately, I don’t see myself using a Philosophy or Psychology degree later on in life.

Wah.

This makes me happy. :) I know I messed up on a recent assignment though, which will take me down from 100%, but still, it makes me happy. And who knows, maybe they’ll be an extra credit opportunity or something. Not too sure what’s up with everyone else in the class though…
Also! I was really worried that I wouldn’t like The Office without Michael Scott, but this episode wasn’t half bad! I love Andy. Aw. :)
Tonight is picking up.

So, for ethics, I have to write about what in chapter 2 surprised me/taught me something I didn’t already know, and absolutely none of this information is new to me.

Contemplating writing this:

“None of this information is new to me, and I decided not to take the unethical route of lying and saying that it is.”

But then again, I do like having 100%, so being a smartass on my assignments probably isn’t in my best interest.

Online classes may not be for me. I’m doing fine with the work, but I e-mail my teacher every 3 minutes with a new question. I feel like such a nuisance and I wish I had a teacher right in front of me explaining the directions. He might throw his computer out the window because of me, and then my grade will not be so good.

Turned in my first assignment of the semester, got 100 points on it, so my course average was 100%. Took my first quiz of the semester, well before the deadline, got a 100% so my course average is…. dropped to a 95%? Ya know, I’m no math major, but something isn’t right here.

“shortcuts often used while texting are not acceptable.”

You would think that a professor wouldn’t have to say this in a syllabus for a college course.

I just sat on hold for 36 minutes and 54 seconds to ask a question that took 48 seconds to answer.

Is this my punishment for taking a year off school?

Dear SPC,

As if I didn’t hate sitting on hold with you EVERY SINGLE STINKIN’ DAY…did you really have to change your hold music to the worst hold music of all time? Really?

Hate you forever,

Ashley

Update:

Finally, after being on hold FOREVER, someone answered my call….then I accidentally hung up on them…. :(

Back on hold I go.

Things I would rather do than go to work today

ashleyceleste:

  • Eat a light bulb
  • Listen to Linkin Park on repeat
  • be handcuffed to Mario Lopez for a day
  • Go on a world tour with Nickelback and Creed
  • have someone poke me in the eye…with toenails.
  • kiss Brian Peppers. WITH MY EYES OPEN

So, I originally made this list saying that these are the things that I’d rather do than go to work. Well, I’m gonna change it to “Things I’d rather do than be on the phone/on hold with SPC” I feel like I’m on the phone with them more often than I’m doing any other thing in my life. And I would also like to add:

  • have to wear a snowsuit in this weather
  • place my head on the tongue of an alligator
  • watch elderly porn
  • find a man with a giant beard and eat leftover food particles out of it.
  • Swallow a pine cone
  • light my nose on fire
  • have someone play the “quit hitting yourself” or “I’m not touching you” game for an hour and a half.

Just to name a few….

I’m a college student again.

I’m so happy to be back in school. Get my life back on track. Unfortunately, I kinda screwed myself over, and I can’t be a full time student this semester since I have to pay for it out of my own pocket, but I’ll get back to that point eventually.
